He then spent three years teaching middle and high school in Southwestern Michigan, including Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus. He also coached boys high school basketball.
Mr. Stevenson then moved into the business world. He was the owner and operator of his own franchise of Farm Bureau Insurance. Mr. Stevenson completed 15 years as an insurance agent and then elected to take a retirement package. He and his wife always dreamed of moving somewhere with palm trees and the beach. They now enjoy sunny Florida and all the gulf coast has to offer.
While Mr. Stevenson was an insurance agent in Michigan, he attended the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, earning their coveted full tuition scholarship. He earned recognition with his service in the Estate Planning Clinic and graduated near the top of his class. In 2014 he became a licensed attorney in Michigan, and in 2017 also became licensed in Florida.
Attorney Stevenson enjoys playing basketball, coaching youth basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.
